What exactly is going on in this picture? What this man staring at? He’s not looking where he’s pouring the fertilizer, let me tell you.
Perhaps he’s mansplaining. “Look at how our new Lambert Mark 2 Lawn and Grass Sweeper vacuums up leaves so perfectly that I can wear white pants and a white T shirt and neither gets dirty.”
Or perhaps he’s just realized that she’s putting stuff down on the lawn at the same time he’s picking stuff up. Perhaps he’s just yanked the fertilizer bag away from her, waiting for an explanation of how she managed to use it all up so quickly when her spreader comes with convenient, fingertip controls with an “accu-rate” flow control system. (It being the 70’s she may have just gone with the flow. ) One way or another, it looks like this family has issues.
S&H Green stamps were the most popular of the numerous redemption companies, who gave you merchandise for books of trading stamps you completed by shopping at your favorite grocer. Started in 1894, astonishingly they still survive in a highly modified digital-age version. Check out https://www.greenpoints.com.
