This catalog was for the trade – independent Rexall Drugstore owners — and illustrated the exclusive lines of Fountain Pens they could sell at a tidy profit. (The store owner’s wholesale cost was half the suggested retail price, which itself was a bit lower than the “List Price.”)

And not only would United Drug supply you with pens with their 14 caret gold nibs and Iridium tips, but wooden display cases, pen holders, and display cards that advertised them as “The Best $1.50 Pen Ever Manufactured.”
